How did Blue Planet IT Help?
Our charity, YoungDementia UK, was seeking an upgrade to the weboffice we were using. The team within the charity all work in home offices and need to have easy access to our information and to each other. The right technology and IT approach is fundamental to our successful operation and to the growth of our charity.
A chance phone call with a colleague at another organisation led us to be introduced to Blue Planet. Following initial discussions with Blue Planet, who introduced us to the cloud services Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint, we felt it was just what the charity needed. Blue Planet explained everything in language all of us could understand and feel comfortable with and tailored the software to meet our needs.
During the initial set-up, although challenging, Blue Planet worked with us to successfully implement and launch the new software. MS365 improves our ability to communicate efficiently throughout our team, work interactively with each other and having the benefit of Skype for Business saves time and costs as well. At all points Blue Planet have reliably provided us with support and have been sensitive to the different levels of confidence and competence in our team.
It is reassuring to know that we have the support of Blue Planet, who respond promptly for any issues that may arise, will work through our queries patiently and thoroughly, and who remain with us for future development of SharePoint and MS365. Our charity has a great relationship with Blue Planet and this helps us serve our beneficiaries – people with young onset dementia.
